After a long time

फार दिवसांनी आपली भेट.
कविता
थोड्या दिवसांपूर्वी सानियाची कविता ब्लॉगवर आली. त्याआधी अनिरुद्ध व किरणच्याही कविताही ब्लॉगवर प्रसिद्ध झाल्या. कविता चांगल्या आहेत किंवा नाहीत याबद्दल माझे काही मत नाही  कारण कविता या विषयात मला काही गती नाही. त्यात पुन्हा त्या इंग्रजीत आहेत.
मला फक्त एकच सूचवायचं आहे की ज्यांना कोणाला लेखनात रस आहे त्यांनी त्या भाषेतल्या श्रेष्ठ लेखकांचे लेखन अभ्यास म्हणून वाचणे अत्यावश्यक आहे. त्याशिवाय गत्यंतर नाही. हे सर्वच कलांना लागू आहे.

गार्गीचा पोस्ट
आपल्या ब्लॉगवर आत्तापर्यंतच्या पोस्टमधला उत्तम पोस्ट. ब्लॉग हा आपले विचार स्पष्टपणे आपल्या ग्रूपमधे शेअर करण्याचा प्लॅटफॉर्म आहे. गार्गीचे विचार स्पष्ट असतातच पण तिने मांडलेही छानपणे. Excellent self-introspection.

ब्लॉगसंबंधी मला वाटत असलेल्या त्रूटी

1.  मुलांचा कमी सहभाग. त्यांना तो कंटाळवाणा / बोअर तर वाटत नाही ना? किंवा त्यांच्याकडे वेळ नाही?

2.   कॉमेंटस् या फारच गोड गोड असतात किंवा नसतातच. एखाद्या विषयासंबंधी विचारांची देवाणघेवाण आपल्या मित्रमंडळींमध्ये करणे हे तर ब्लॉगचे उद्दिष्ट असते. जर ते आपण करणार नसलो तर आपली मैत्री ती काय. उदाहरणार्थ गार्गीच्या पोस्टमधे तिने expression of love आणि self-realisation that she must be a nice person असे दोन मुद्दे मांडले आहेत. त्यावर आपण विचार करून आपलंही मत मांडलं तर ब्लॉग अर्थपूर्ण होऊ शकतो.

3.  ज्या पोस्ट टॉपिकल आहेत उदा. प्रदर्शनाची काळ-वेळ तशा पोस्ट काढणे आवश्यक आहे.

4.  सर्वसाधारण पोस्ट या फॉर्मल भाषेत आहेत. मलातर परीक्षेत निबंध लिहिले आहेत असंच वाटतं. अर्थात इन्फॉर्मल लिहिणं कठिण आहेच.

आत्ता मी जे काही लिहिले आहे ते सर्वांना पटले पाहिजे असं नाही. मतभेद असले तर ते कॉमेंटस् मधे आले पाहिजेत. पण कॉमेंटस आल्याच नाहीत तर कळतंच नाही की आपलं बरोबर की चूक.  आपला मुख्य प्रश्न आहे की मतभेद शांतपणे, विचारपूर्वक कसे मांडायचे ते शिकण्यासाठी ब्लॉगचा आपण उपयोग करू शकतो. कारण बोलण्यापेक्षा लिहिणे अधिक जबाबदारीने केले जाते.

विशाखा आणि उन्मेषने घरच्या गणपती साठी काय सजावट केली होती त्याचा फोटो अपलोड करत आहे. शिबिरातील अनेकांनी आम्हाला प्रोत्साहन दिले, कौतुक केले त्याबद्दल आभार!!

मुंबई ग्राहक पंचायतीने पर्यावरणप्रेमी गणपती उत्सव स्पर्धा घेतली होती. मी त्या मोहिमेची प्रमुख होते. सुमारे २०० जणांनी भाग घेतला होता. फार छान छान कल्पना पाहायला मिळाल्या. निकाल लावतेवेळी माझ्या हातात सर्व फोटो, मजकूर येईल. तेव्हा मी त्याबद्दल अधिक सांगेन. आपल्या सर्वाना सांगण्यासारखी बाब म्हणजे, परांजपे कुटुंबानेही त्यात भाग घेतला होता. त्यांचा गणपती मस्त होता. धातूची मूर्ती,  उन्मेष, विशाखाने बनवलेल्या ओरिगामी पक्षांची माळ, शांतालाची कागदी फुले, स्वरूपाची रांगोळी, सुक्या मेव्याचा प्रसाद, त्यासाठी ओरीगामीचे सुरेख बॉक्स... अगदी प्रसन्न वाटले. पर्यावरणाचा तर विचार होताच. पण पूर्ण कुटुंब, तसेच शिबिराचे विस्तारीत कुटुंब यांची सामीलकी त्यात दिसली. विशाखा, उन्मेष, विकास सर्वांचे अभिनंदन.

मित्रानो ,

ह्या वर्षी आमच्या गणपतीला दहा वर्षे पूर्ण झाली। आम्ही बरेच दिवस विचारात होतो की ह्या वेळेस ची सजावट कशी करायची। आम्ही  महक च्या वाढदिवसा च्या दिवशी सुन्दर Eco friendly  गणपति पसंत केला।गणपतीच्या कही दिवस आधी पर्यंत आमचे हेच ठरले होते की एक पूर्ण भिंत तिला स्पोंज  ने समुद्राचा एफ्फेक्ट द्यायचा आणि मग त्यात बोटी आणि मासे चिकटवायचे । हर्तालिकेच्या आदल्या दिवशी आम्ही रात्रि चर्चा करत बसलो होतो आरास आणि सजवटीची , तेव्हा जयंत ना  मेपल  ट्री चा फ़ॉल आठवला  आणि त्यानी ते झाड  रंगवायची कल्पना सुचवली .आम्हाला खुप छान  वाटले कारण  मोठा समुद्र आणि त्या  वर 'ट्री  ऑफ़ लाइफ' आसे कही पुसट  चित्र मनात  येऊ लागले। आमच्या कड़े एक पान होते मग आम्ही त्याचे बरेच स्टेंसिल्स बनवले,  बरेच शेड्स एकत्र करून आम्ही दुसरया  दिवशी झाड  रंगवायला चालू केले।

जेव्हा ते पूर्ण जाले तेव्हा ती रात्र आम्ही फ़क्त त्या  भिंती कडेच पाहत होतो। त्या  चित्रा  ने  सगळया  गोष्टी उठून दिसू लागल्या होत्या। आमच्या कड़े जेवढे पाहुणे आले ते सगळे जवळून ते चित्र पाहून खुप तारीफ करून  गेले। या मधे आम्ही जयंत ना  झाड रंगवायला मदत केली  पण बाकि सगळे चित्र जयंत नि स्वता शांत पणे  पूर्ण केले होते।

आमच्या गणपतीचे विसर्जन रविवारी दुपारी झाले आणि मग आम्ही विचार केला ह्या आठवणी बाकि सगाळया न्बरोबर वाटाव्यात।

This village is deprived of many basic infrastructure facilities like many other villages do in our country. There is "Anganwadi" for small children which is not equipped with books, toys, etc...

Hello friends!
                I would like to share my experience on the recently held exhibition.
                Firstly, I'd like to thank Shubhada, who provided us with a platform to exhibit our art.
               We started preparing a month prior to the exhibition. Initially, we had a meeting at Swadi's residence to discuss the requirements for the concept of "Eco Freindly Ganapati" and the materials to be used. Shubhada had sent a detail mail about it. We then shared amongst us about what could be exhibited considering the limited time in hand and our daily duties. We then allotted ourselves with respective works of arts which could be done singularly at our own homes as it was simply not possible to come together and do things collectively. We then within a month prepared our art works to the best of our ability with quality as we were going to sell the art works. 
               On the day of the exhibition, we were given vacant stalls with tables and enough lighting. We are thankful to Mumbai Grahak Panchayat as they gave these stalls to all of us, free of cost, at Brahman Seva Mandal, Dadar, a prime area in Mumbai, where the rates are tremendously high. It was an experience in itself to organise and decorate the stall with the modest help of our able and adorable husbands. The displays, arrangements and allocation of space was an exercise in space management. 
               This being our first attempt, initially, we encountered many problems. Slowly, we got accustomed to the responses and needs of the clients. We started to highlight our goods explaining to them the usefulness of the products. Kiran Swadi's prior experience (the other one would have been a disaster) helped us tremendously. The next day was a hit. Our inexperience, immaturity was rewarded when we were successful to engage a very handsome and smart salesman. He was instrumental in keeping the fairer sex engrossed and the pace of our sales definitely increased. Mahesh, once again proved his multi talented, but humble self. However, we definitely missed the other one " Anand" and to some extent the "Doctor" who was unavailable when we needed them the most, who shall now readily bear the loss incurred to our firm.
               Darshana and Dhanashree helped us tremendously in running the stall and with the sales. When Omkar,Om, Shubham, Rahul & Harsha, Aastha, Vaishnavi, Krutika turned up at the exhibition, the atmosphere became cheerful and we were pleased with their presence.Our shibir parents really encouraged and pampered us by bringing an never ending stock of snacks.Vivek's mother and Swati arranged our lunch & dinner. We received a lot of good wishes and encouragement from everyone and were thus able to fulfil our dream successfully.

Exhibition

Let This Be Known

One day recently, I was having a really hectic day. I was tired and irritated and bored. I was grumbling to myself about being in 10th Std. That was when I decided to write about everything I loved about being a teenager, just to change my mood. This is what came of it in the end. I was feeling pretty great after writing it. 

Not a penny in my pocket, not a care in the world,

I walk down the street, singing out loud.

I jump, I dance, I even whistle and I laugh,

Oh, you bet I can stand out in the crowd.

It’s so great to be a teenager in the city, I know

When all the world’s my playground,

When my only worry are my bad hair days

And the laughter of joy is my only sound.

I’m not afraid of anyone or anything,

Hey, no one can push me out,

‘Coz I’m not a day more than fifteen

I’m a teen, a Wondergirl, have no doubt.

So for all you adults who wait for me

to grow up into one of your own,

I have no plans of changing soon,

Let this be known.

Oh, I’ll say it once, again and a hundred times,

To be a teenager is a gift, a blessing, a boon

We’re the best, we have a life

And we live it from noon to night to noon!

Cheers. Our group had a grand exhibition at MGP's Eco-Friendly Ganesh Fest Grahak Peth. The stall was colourful, with much variety. It was full of enthusiasm and vigour. It attracted huge crowd. Many of the visitors appreciated the products and creativity. Congratulations to all of them who created such nice range of products and also to them who helped a lot in display and sale. Keep it up. I am trying to give them a platform in big Consumer Peths that are arranged by MGP by Dasara-Diwali. Lets see how it works.

3 DAYS AT AVION Computers.PVT

     Recently our school had organised a 3 day program for us. Our class was divided into 5 groups and had to work in the offices of some the parents, for 3 days.The speciality of our group was that it was an all boys group (the level of unstableness high) and we had to travel the farthest all the way from andheri  to Sandhurst road. The first and one of the most important question was how to look best as an employee and we all gave eachother tips and received some from our parents.
     And finally after numerous phone calls and confusion we started our journey towards Sandhurst rd in the same coach. I felt older than I was and all of us were almost unrecognisable. But the overage looks was masked by our underage behavior.
      We reached our work place at 11:00 dot,we were going to stay there till 6:00. Our classmate's parent introduced us to the staff and gave us a brief  lecture on his company works. In short we were working in a computer manufacturing company which assembles, sells computers and services them. All of us in groups of two worked in the manufacturing sector where computers are manufactured and repaired. The rest of the two days were spent doing clerical jobs starting from checking the purchase bills (50 each) and writing cheques and stamping them.
       The experience was superb especially the feel of being in the office though the atmosphere is not so interesting. When compared with school there is so much responsibility on you in the office. But it gave us a peek in how things work at work places. Travelling togather was one of the part enjoyed very much by us. The difference in freedom in school and work place was noticed but we all being to togather made the best out of those moments.

आनंदमेवा शिबिरातील आपल्या काही कल्पक, कलाकार मित्रांनी गौरी-गणपती सजावटीसाठी काही सुंदर कलाकृती तयार केल्या आहेत. मुंबई ग्राहक पंचायतीने सोमवार १० व मंगळवार ११ सप्टेंबर रोजी ब्राह्मण सेवा मंडळ, भवानी शंकर रोड, दादर येथे पर्यावरणप्रेमी गौरी-गणपती सजावटीचे एक खास प्रदर्शन भरवले आहे. त्यात सुमारे २० दलाने आहेत. यापैकी एक दालन आपल्या मित्रांचे आहे. स्वरूपा, स्वाती, शांतला, विवेक खात्चे, सुधांशु यांनी मिळून मस्त कलाकृती घडवल्या आहेत. त्या पाहायला, विकत घ्यायला आणि त्यांना प्रोत्साहन द्यायला जरूर या. वेळ आहे ११ ते ८.

शिक्षकदिन

HELLO
               काल आमच्या शाळेत खूप छान प्रकारे शिक्षकदिन साजरा केला गेला..मुख्याध्यापकांपासून peun पर्यंत सगळे दहावीची मुलंच बनली होती. सगळ्या मुलींनी लग्नात नेसतात तशा zango साड्या नेसल्या होत्या.आणि मुलगे टाय बांधून आले होते. खूप मज्जा आली त्याचं  शिकवण ऐकून, बघून.
              नंतर एक छोटासा कार्यक्रम होता ज्याच्यात ह्या  शिक्षक बनलेल्या मुलांची  मुलाखत घेतली गेली. एक प्रश्न विचारला, "आजचा अनुभव कसा होता? त्यात एका मुलीने छान सांगितले. ती म्हणाली,"एरवी आम्हाला शाळेत शिक्षकांना येताना बघून  वाटते," शी! का आले हे?" पण आज खूप EXITMENT वाटत होती शाळेत येताना!" सर्वात शेवटी एक प्रश्न विचारला "या अनुभवानंतर कोणाला शिक्षक व्हायला आवडेल?" तर कोणालाही वाटले नाही शिक्षक बनावेसे!

Teacher's Day Celebration !

       Hello  friends !
                 From last   month I was busy in  Teacher's  Day  Celebration programme .For Teacher's day ,we have a celebration in our school which is managed and completely conducted , planned ,arranged by the students of class 10 .This preparation begins a month  before.
                At the beginning ,we held many discussions . We decided about the whole programme and then people were appointed by the Head Girl to carry out different tasks and responsibilities were given to the respective students. As usual  backdrop responsibility was given to me . Actually  , I had decided not to participate in any time consuming activity   But I couldn't stop myself  when it was  backdrop .I prepared myself for the  Backdrop  once again ....
              There was a bit change this time. On other occasions  our guide us  what we have to do and how, What materials to use ,etc. But this time we students decided all the backdrop materials required , expenses ,props etc.At the beginning Iwas anxious about the work and kept saying " All is  Well ". Along with my classmates  many new junior students were also working under my supervision. This was something new and different  for me.
              During this backdrop , we had to miss  Lectures, our portion lacked behind,but we had to cope up with it. Inspite  of missing the studies ,some girls use to come & do nothing but just waste time . Thought I didn't like this, I had to adjust with such people. But, still  it was fun handling all this.
           Today till the last moment,we were busy  in arranging the props, decorating the hall ,the staff room, and what not ? The same condition was with the other girls participating in dance ,play , etc. For last five years I used to sit in audience and watch the programme, but this year I was at the backstage, behind the curtains. Some props was coming out ,someone's dupatta slipping off, or nosering not fitting and so many other problems. There was a lot of commotion, chaos inside but on stage everything went on smoothly.All teachers appreciated the programme and praised us.
          Today though I couldn't watch the programme from audience, I enjoyed the whole event even more  behind the curtains. I  often go backstage to  take autographs of artists .That time I used to enjoy seeing people  packing up quickly , collecting properties, people running from here to there. Today I experienced it . Though I had to miss some lectures, spend my time for backdrop, I enjoyed everything. This was a very good experience for me.

God is Great

Dear all,
      This incidence occurred on Monday 3rd Sept a very rainy day. As usual naren took my father to the hospital for dialysis at 3:20pm. Dad was attended by help Raju as my mom was not well. The dialysis was supposed to be completed at 7:20pm. I left home to bring my dad back from the hospital and learnt that its flooded outside and almost everywhere in Mumbai. Our car stuck in the flood. As the water entered in the car, we had to stop the car in the middle of the road. Our driver Nilesh called the car mechanic to take care of the car. Now it was almost 9pm and I was feeling restless when one of our acquaintance Kantilal(kadia) was passing by stopped and gave me moral support. Three of us went to the hospital walking in that flood. I was almost drowned. Raju, Nilesh and Kantilal literally took my dad in their arms and brought him to the car in that flooded water. One rickshawala also helped us. The car mechanic dropped us home safely at 9:40pm. We remembered the incidence when Mahesh Vaknali and Dr. Jayant Nadkarni helped my dad to take the blessings of Maa Vaishnavdevi in Kashmir. Thanks to all of them who helped us and also to God Almighty. They all were Blessings in disguise.

After the recent fire all of us went through hell.But as I look at the entire episode today I realise a few good things ,hence thought of sharing them with you.
All these years I thought that People to whom I try to be extra nice do not necessarily reciprocate in the same way.But during the last few days I realised that each and every person around me,whom I knew or I didn't,who was aware of the fire or wasn't,all in all were going out of their way to see and make me happy.I started perceiving a lot of love from everybody around.And I realised thatAll these years I was viewing the world from a different perspective.
I wanted others to love me in a way which I wanted.In a way in which I would have expressed my love.But I failed to realise that expression of love doesnt have a right or a wrong way.I didn't understand that they all were trying to love me in their own way so I had missed out on so much love.
Then I thought to myself that since so many people were showering their love on me all the time meant that I must be a nice person.This really boosted my confidence in myself,especially at a time when I was at my lowest.And the song ;I MUST HAVE DONE SOMETHING GOOD: from Sound of Music came to my mind.
Since then I have been perceiving a lot of love from everyone around me & this has really helped me overcome this nightmare to a large extent

After coming home from school we were very happy to see our new friend. common Mormon ,born at 9 a.m at that time we were at school . We were surprised that it stayed for 6hours , we clicked some photos. when we were not at home my parents kept the Ixora  flower plant inside our home it rested on it and drank the Nectar of it and waited for us till 3 O'clock .after playing safely with the butterfly ,we sat beside the plant doing our work.At 5 O' clock it left our home .It was Male common Mormon .
