hi pals!
how are you all ? I am feeling extremely delighted to write on the chequebook after such a long time. Actually our family could not access the Internet due to some computer snag. however that was unable to stop my anxiety to type this post.It was the Monday night when my parents finally blurted out the secret they had kept for a long time .They had enrolled me for the robotics camp! They also informed me that I had to wake up early In order to reach there punctually.I agreed and went to sleep on time.I could not stop thinking about it . however I got some sleep.
we were at first taught the fundamentals of robotics.we then made our way to create our first robot.there the obstruction avoiding robot. out there I gained many friends. We also learnt many theories. We made 10 intelligent robots. They are the obstruction avoider, the line follower, the object follower, the wall follower, the sound sensor, the mobile controlled, the fire sensor(stops at sensing the fire and rings the buzzer),the photo phobic(moves away from light) and the photophilic (the one following the light ).They are changed by just changing the connections.Unfortunately,I cannot upload its picture.so you all would have to pay a visit to me for me to show its working.
It was truly a rejoicing unique summer camp.

happy ruminations
Saturday evening truly shall be an evening to remember.
Lataaji Anilajoba had invited two of their friends Mr Vasu Paranjape ,ex-coach Team India and industrialist Mr.Madhav Apte ,opening batsman India, both cricketing legends to share their cricketing experiences. Also present were their friends,Dr,Mukund Joshi, eminent radiologist and Dr.Nandu Laud, eminent Orthopaedic surgeon who also are great cricket enthusiasts who have played cricket at the state level.
It was really an enviable evening to be in the company of all these great personalities who are like grandparents to Om and all of them sharing their nostalgic memories about various cricketing legends. They narrated them so very vividly that all of us including om could visualise the whole drama unfold before us.
The three of us especially om hadn't even heard of these cricketers of the 50's but still we enjoyed the evening as we could experience the happiness that all of them had got while ruminating over those fond memories even after 60 years.
Post dinner every day we talk about saturday evening and each one of us has a newer dimension to add to the whole thing.

Tis been long time since my last post, and as i promise i brought along with me another suitcase full of vibrant photos. Again as usual these photos are of butterflies, but before you see those pictures i would be glad to tell you folks the great rivalry between me and those swift butterflies. These butterflies i have strived to capture because they never sit. Thankfully i matched the swiftness of the butterflies which earlier proved too much for me.

The good old holidays
It has been three days since school has started . We 10th STD students are having extra classes in school for maths, science, etc. The blazing hot sun was troubling me when I was going to my Math class this afternoon and suddenly I remembered the how I used to enjoy my holidays. The outings with family, the friendly meetings , how my friends used to come to stay at my home or how I went to their houses and the mangoes I used to enjoy. I shook my head and just took a small glimpse to the time and was surprised to see that I was late for my class. The great holidays I used to enjoy. But I know after this year I would be able to enjoy for some months .But before the enjoyment I must do my task. The task of completing the 10th STD

EXAMINATIONS CONQUERED
When we think about examinations , a collection of words runs through our head. 'TENSION,MARKS.....' all such feelings run through our head making us diffident .I was in the same situation like this one . the main cause of my diffidence was I gave a lot of importance to these feeling and thus I would become miserable. But these words no longer exist in my dictionary. I have simply overcome these by doing न्यास and circle of excellence. My best friend Nihal who is amongst the brightest students in my class also helped me . I learnt through his attitude towards studies. He never would get upset even if he got a lesser grade and would make up for the same in the next examination. And really , in this exam I have come out with flying colours.

Sidhivinayak
Me and my sis had went to sidhivnayak yeterday witn uncle and aunt. The Sidhivinayak is the most glamourized ganapati in Mumbai and one of the in India. Once you enter there are big LCDs kept in different corners. there is a big line to go inside the temple. After all the line and stuff you come in front of the idol. But its for less than a farction of a second and u will be pushed outside.
But in all this havoc one sees LCDs,lighting and the gold around the idol. But one forgets about the small idol in the centre of it.Celebrities come and go but there are very less who think about the idol.I must accept that even I first saw the surroundings before the idol.In India there are boards stuck everywhere we go showing big photos of politicians wishing everyone happy diwali, ganesh chaturthi, etc during any festivals. But in the corner of all that is the small photo of God.We must stop glamourizing and if we want to do something for God, we should become a good human being and nothing else!
Nanded-the town near grandpa's farm
Hi friends! I am writing this post to give all of you the exciting experiences I had during my trip to Nanded. We (I and mother)at the time of 8:59 managed to board the Devagiri Express at the crowded station of Dadar.Train seemed to be quite clean. After listening to the Walkman for some time ,I dosed off .The train was expected to reach Nanded at7:30.Even I woke up at7:30.Fortunately the train was delayed by one hour. After boarding out,we made our way towards the exit of the station. Here I met my Grandpa. After a small bargain with the driver, we got into a rickshaw. Nanded as I discovered is a small town located near the easternmost side of Maharashtra. It is a dry hot region where rainfall is scarce. We lived at grandpa's home.My uncle had also come from Pune. After bath and breakfast,we left for sightseeing. First we went to a temple. Then went to our 300 year old वडा.Although some walls had given way and roof had broken at many places dirtying the floor and exposing the sky.Still it was fun exploring the heritage building. We then decided to go to Mahur which was famous for the temple of the goddess there. We reached Mahur at 8:10 pm.The temple had closed .We had an overnight stay at a hotel in Mahur. We went to the temple early in the morning .It was said to be very beautiful and crowded. But as we went there during the small hours in the morning ,there was very less crowd so दर्शन was easy. Then we left for Bhoshi, the village where our farm was.there I drove the farmer's Mercedes Benz i.e. the बैलगाड़ी .there I also found a म्हैस licking my hand when I sat near her on a cot.I also learnt to operate the हाप्सा. It truly was a exciting experience.I am looking forward to my next tour there.

In Gratitude
(Flashback : 10 years ago.)
It’s the typical scene of a normal free afternoon. It could be the summer vacations or maybe just a lazy holiday.
I am back home at 1.00 pm after 3 intense hours of cricket in the morning. Linger around at the lunch table till grandmother chides me to finish lunch faster.
Afternoon restlessness begins to set in. Little sister is sleeping. I have been threatened against disrupting here baby sleep. Evening playtime is 5.30 pm. TV time is strictly 5 pm because that’s when Small Wonder is telecast (and there was nothing else worth watching on TV then). I have nothing else to do till then.
So I sit on the bed in my grandparents’ bedroom, next to the window by the peepul tree. Open a comic book.
And I am off.
To a land of mythology and fairy tales,
To the jungle where the Shikari Shambhu rules supreme.
To the Kingdom of Raja Hoodja to see if poor Tantri has had any luck.
A little bit of practical science with Uncle Anu,
And then a few simple laughs with good old Supandi.
And compare the cheekiness of Raghu and Anwar,
With the spunk of Kaalia the Crow and Kapish the monkey.
Framing my own “it happened to me” stories in my mind
And creating “Tinkle tells you why” questions.
I am atop Govardhan just before Krishna lifts it with his little finger,
Jumping towards Lanka as Ram rushes on to rescue his beloved Seeta.
Hurrying towards the battle field of Kurukshetra as the Pandavas face the Kauravas,
And shuddering with anticipation as the Sudarshan Chakra heads towards Shishupal.
I stand atop the proud forts of Sahyadris with Shivaji Maharaj,
And chuckle at the wit of Birbal.
I get electrified with the INA troops as Netaji addresses,
Cheer till I’m hoarse when Tilak speaks.
And gasp when the shy school boy grows up to become Chacha Nehru.
And today, 10 years later, I could have been the same young school boy as I pay my tribute to the man who made growing up in the 90s so much fun! And who made Indian culture and mythology cool, way before MTV or advertising happened.
In fond memory of Uncle Pai (17th September, 1929 – 24th February, 2011).
Creator of Amar Chitra Katha, Tinkle Comics and one of the greatest storytellers of modern India.

SUMAN NAGAR ANNUAL FUNCTION
Hi friends ! This is the first time I am writing in the chequebook and I am very excited about it . I want to relate to you my experience in my this year annual function which was in the last month in my colony .
Like every year this year also we had a get-together in our colony. But this time something very excited took place. In the get-together there are many programs like cooking competition ,sports ,fancy dress competition, dances, skits etc . First of all I took part in the cooking competition for the first time . All my competitors were elderly ladies who obviously were better experienced in cooking than me . But I was quite confident about myself . The major ingredient was coconut. I consulted Sangita Maushi (as we all know how good cook she is) for some good recipe. She gave me a recipe of tender coconut pudding . I liked the recipe very much and decided to make it . We had to make the recipe at home and then bring it to society office for display and judgement. I started making the recipe with a little help from my mother . The recipe was ready and I had to keep it in the refrigerator for setting. I was very confident about my recipe and thought that I would win the first prize . But it is said that over confidence is not good and so did it happen .
The time for the competition was nearing. I removed the pudding from the refrigerator. I was shocked to see that the pudding had not set properly. My mother said that maybe we should keep it in the refrigerator for a longer time. All the participants had arrived in the colony office with their dishes. They all were waiting for me to come. All the decoration I had planned for the pudding went in vain. I became anxious and took down the recipe in a hurry. The judgement had already started and the participants were waiting outside for the result. A lot of time passed but the results had not come. My anxiety further increased. At last judges declared the result. I, of course, could not get the prize as the pudding was not set properly. But to my surprise, judges said that the recipe was very nice, but because it had not set properly, I did not get the prize. The real fun was later.
I was not disheartened by the failure and thus decided to make the recipe again at home. That time the pudding was set properly and became very fluffy and tasty. I wished that this should have happened during the competition. Anyway, I understood my mistakes that I had made the first time.
