Interstellar is a movie you should watch. Why you may ask?
Interstellar isn't the best movie ever. Hell it isn't even the best movie made by Nolan. Inception was ! It doesn't have the best dialogues(Dark Knight), best plot twist(Prestige) or the best background score(The Dark Knight Rises). This movie literally wastes many actors like Michael Cain and Matt Damon. The story doesn't move forward at a consistent pace, doesn't provide the best dialogues and even doesn't provide a story inspirational enough to be termed as a Nolan flick. What it does provide is a film so grand that it dwarfs almost any other movie around, ever. The whole space voyage is shown so good that it looks so real. The special effects are beyond comparison. The 'ghost' plotline is one the best and Nolan merges the whole black hole theory into the grand scheme of things to perfection. The acting by nearly everyone is superb and the camera captures everything perfectly.
I strongly believe that some stories are not the greatest stories yet can be few of the most epic stories. By serving us this film, Nolan has given us one more epic story to cherish. Thats why you must go and see it now.
