Wall Paintng

From past many years we had leakage in our house walls . We had tried various ways to stop it , but it was all in vain . Finally after taking the encouragement from our other shibir friends , we decided to stick wallpaper only in our bedroom walls , which were in the worst condition . This project at first looked Quite easy for me but then slowly the challenge got revealed to us.As soon as my Diwali holidays commenced ,I started scraping off the damaged walls by covering my whole face like a painter .
It almost took 2 days to finish scraping. Then we took precise measurements of the walls and bought papers according to that. In order to paste the wallpaper we made Maida glue at home . For the front wall,we first stuck the paper then painted a waterfall on it directly . As for the ceiling is concerned we had to first paint and then stick it . A sky was painted and on it I arranged the important constellations and zodiac signs . It took a week to complete the project . The work was really difficult but our enthusiasm towards completion kept us going .
But the satisfaction after  completing it,was the best part to experience . The night when it got over , we had a peaceful and sound sleep looking at the stars . Our Diwali was then filled with much more excitement and joy .

If any one would like to come and see it
, then come before the next monsoons or you might experience shooting stars and see ''TARE ZAMEEN PAR'' (Jayant Nadkarni kaka's comment) in monsoon.
Even if I was the one painting it ,the whole thing wouldn't have been possible without the help of Aai and Baba, so a great thanks to them .
