आपण सगळे Red Pierrot या फुलपाखराला अगदी नीट ओळखायला लागलो . याच फुलपाखरामुळे आपल्या शिबिरात या चिमुकल्या पण देखण्या जीवाबद्धल जाणीव निर्माण आहे . आपल्या लाडक्या सुधांशु काका ने या फुलपाखराची ओळख करून दिली. हल्लीच मला Red Pierrot याचं त्याच्या कोशातून बाहेर येतानाचं (त्याच्या जन्माचं )छायाचित्रीकरण करता आलं . बऱ्याच जणांना हा क्षण पाहायला मिळत नाही तर त्यांनी हा अचंबा जरूर पाहावा .हे फुलपाखरू पानफुटीच्या झाडावर अंडी घालतं ,तर ज्यांच्या घरी हे झाड नाही त्यांनी मला नक्की सांगा . मी मग त्यांना ते झाड देऊ शकीन .

हल्लीच आमच्या कडीपत्यावर एक नवीन प्रकारची अळी आली होती जी फक्त कडीपत्त्याची फुलच खात होती . मला ती नीट दिसली नाही परंतु नंतर शोधल्यावर मला त्या झाडावर ५ कोश दिसले . या अनोळखी फुलपाखराची मी आतुरतेने वात पहात होतो . अखेर काल ते फुलपाखरू बाहेर आले . त्याचं नाव Pointed Ciliate Blue . त्याचे ही फोटो मी टाकत आहे .

thank you Om for beautiful pics of Red pierrot. We all Shibirathee are closely connected with this butterfly. I still remember the day when Sudhanshu had brought a small plant with kosh to the Shibir and we together experienced the beauty of its birth. Lata aai and Sudhanshu gave us a lasting gift of association of such a wonderful creature!
