Hey friends!
Contributing on our blog after a long time.As you all know about the tailor bird's majestic nest built on our Parijatak plant has been there since long. Everyday we were trying to observe the movements of the parent-bird around the terrace, but to our mis-fortune we had very less sightings of same. We knew that the bird wouldn't appreciate our interference in it's home, hence we kept away from it for many days. But recently the bird was not seen visiting and also the leaves stitched together to form the nest were turning brown. We were anxious to know whether the bird has left the nest or not. I had read many a times that if the female would not like the nest, they would leave it.So today finally, out of curiosity, knowing that the bird was not near took a quick peep in the nest. But we were careful not to touch and disturb the nest in any which ways. Inside it was dark and cozy. It was filled with lots of cotton and various other things. In that dark, I could see three very small (Nutty sized), tear drop shaped white eggs.I was delighted to see them and I am eager to welcome the new babies. So just felt like sharing my joy and happiness with you all.
