Reactions

The very first reaction was asking about the safety of Lata Aji and Anil Ajoba and enquiring about Adwait and fly.

The next thing that came to mind was the beautiful collection of artefacts and things made by children and parents that Aji and Ajoba have so lovingly preserved with beautiful memories attached, that were kept on the table.

After a while when we got to know about the magnitude of the disaster, it was the children’s hospital that was just downstairs, rest of the people staying in the building that came to mind. What must have transpired in the minds two of our most dear people in this world, that they who themselves are so sensitive, always toiling about the safety of everybody have put others at risk. Shame just took over.

During discussion, Saniya said she was amazed by the presence of mind shown by Lata Aji and Anil Ajoba in not opening the door and calling Gargee. And that switching off of the AC, such a seemingly insignificant act, which somebody does was not even realised till then. There must be so many such acts which are so important and done that we don’t even realise but ought to know.
