Before sharing our experiences we would like to introduce you to the place where we stayed last week.
In free time we also rediscovered our hobbies like photography, origami, solving rubik's cube, etc for which we couldn't fish out time before. As for personality development we improved our communication skills with others and between us. This experience was an awakening for us and would be remembered.....
Dapoli is a town perched on the slope of the hills near Harne,in Ratnagiri district, on the konkan belt. The place where we resided is called Nisarga Sahavas, which is owned by our close family friends. The owner (Aajoba) has a sprawling nursery which receives numerous requests of plants. Their nursery is renowned in India .He called us personally (omkar joined later) to stay with them and soak in some knowledge.
In the span of a week we learned a few things from him. He taught us the basic methods of agriculture like grafting, etc. Aajoba told us about why and how language is significant in our lives. The relationship of nature and humans and how to prevent yourselves from overstepping the law of nature were a couple of things he explained us by giving us a few simple examples. In the mean time we noticed some similarities in the thought processes of Lata aaji and this Aajoba.
Aajoba's personality is a very striking feature of his attitude. He always encouraged people to focus on their goal and he never looked back. Despite having wealth and authority he and his wife(Aaji) were filled with self-esteem,and were down to earth. He always saw the filled part of the glass and never dwelled on the sufferings of his life. They both had faith in each other's decision and were confident, thoughtful and supportive. Before proceeding ahead they took opinions from the right people.
Aajoba came up and established himself by fighting all odds in life. Aaji did everything wholeheartedly hence whatever she made for us reminded us of our grandmothers. She was always smiling and even took interest in learning origami, and was socially active. Aaji also was involved in making food products .Their son Ashish kaka was also supportive and enthusiastic,he even accompanied us for bird watching and playing carom despite having responsibility of managing the financial sector of Nisarga sahavas.
Because of these big threes we realised where we had to improve. In this trip we felt that the first two days were dull. Later we realised we should be more resourceful and hence we started involving ourselves in other activities hence the later days did not go in vain.
This was our first trip where we were completely on ourselves. No seams bound us and we could have done whatever we wanted in that time, but we utilised it for the best. in the mean time Madhura velankar, a marathi actress had come to visit Nisarga sahavas. We as a gesture of gratitude presented her with a bunch of origami roses.
In free time we also rediscovered our hobbies like photography, origami, solving rubik's cube, etc for which we couldn't fish out time before.
