This year being in the tenth standard I had enrolled myself for a crash course in history.That teacher was to cover the entire syllabus in 15 sessions of two hours each .I was doubtful since that meant nearly two chapters a day.But to my surprise she made it look so simple and easy to remember that learning a boring topic like civics was fun. Her notes were not meant for mugging up. She showed us tricks and ways of remembering all the points easily. She made smart cards for civics,some pnemonics in history etc. Thus the entire portion was completed in just 13 sessions and I for once felt History was relevant even today.
