My mistake in Social Parenting

Recently Meghana had organised a lovely bakery workshop for the mothers and even a few children participated wholeheartedly. Meghana, along with Vedant and Mahek had planned the event very well and had put in a lot of efforts, and of course Jayant’s support was also noticeable. Her preparation had a professional touch.
It was very disturbing to see that more than half of the mothers turned up late. I thought maybe Meghana was informed about the different timings each one was going to arrive, and so did not pursue the topic. But later on I knew that, that was not the case as some of them had not informed her and later I felt sorry that as a senior member of the group, I did not bring up the topic for discussion before the session ended. That discussion would have been healthier and probably could have highlighted that such a casual approach is not right. After all we are all together in this group to be better and better individuals and so we need to help each other in overcoming our shortcomings and encourage good deeds, making sure in the process that a healthy society for our children does not remain just our dream.
