We had been to Goa last month.On the day we were to return to bombay the opposition declared BHARAT BANDH. But hon.chief minister of Goa Shri Parrikar saw to it that the tourists were not stranded in any way and all modes of transport operated safely.
On returning to Mumbai the picture was totally different.
No cabs ,no autos at the airport.Adwait had to come and pick us up after Bandh was called off..This is Maharashtra govt.
Saluting Mr.Parrikar for his thoughtful gesture.
Hope I learn to be as thoughtful at every moment for everyone.

I interviewed Goa CM Parreekar on last Saturday in a public programme at Savarkar Smarak, Dadar. He is a politician with difference. I enjoyed interviewing him and impressed with his personality. There was a huge crowd for the programme, including many youths. I will like to share his thoughts and actions when we meet. Much to learn from him. If persons like him enter politics, the face of politics will better a lot.
