Commitment towards Shibir

As you all know that we have learnt so many things from shibir and with it a new vision to look towards life. We have also learnt to view the other side of the issue which is equally important. I must confess that Jayashree is committed and trying hard to get my support but the laziness in me is making her effort ‘zero’. There is a saying ‘Fatigue / Laziness are a creation of the mind. It dominates the lives of those who are living without direction and dreams’. When Lata Aaji’s shibir and parents are there, I don’t want to be in that character anymore.

Initially it was understood that the shibir was meant for the children’s and the activities, thought there was for their development and we, as a parent, made sure that the children completed all the activities. As years passed by we realized our mistakes that we had set wrong priorities for the shibir. Because of this, our involvement in shibir activities was less. The commitment levels used to gets weaken for any small reasons. Shibir is meant for parents and children’s development, if the parents are not involved, the children’s are also not committed. We have realized it and I and Jayashree are indebted to Lata Aaji and the only way we can return her is through our commitment in life and family.

There is no doubt that shibir activities are now a part of our life and we have to raise our level to the highest to bear the fruits. There is no room for any excuses.
