Sometimes the things we like helps us in the hard times rather than the traditional ways . This incident took place in our school. Just before our lunch I got a very bad headache which started taking its toll after our sports. I went to the school office took some medicine and came back hoping it would do some good. But no avail. It was our art class and only 45 min were left for the school to close down. Instead of doing nothing for 45 min I took to art and in that span of time I produced a good painting and all the pain and the throbing was gone. I felt normal again. Such is the strength of art. This is my experience if you have any I would like to know.

ReplyDeleteHello Omkar, Yes... I completely agree that art works as a wonder in our life.
ReplyDeleteI generally get headaches due to migraine and sometimes you feel more sick after taking medicines, so once i just decided will not take any medicine but will divert my mind...and i just took pencil, one sheet and eraser and started drawing the images. I love to draw outline drawings of Indian Gods and on that day started drawing some images and soon realized that there is no pain at all :-)
Also, we play "Athavanicha Khel" and even that works wonder and gives you a good dose of happiness..
Thanks.

Hi Omkar
ReplyDeleteI agree with u. I thought I can't draw well. I used to like craft more than drawing. but now I realised that whenever I draw I feel happy.now I like drawing too.Same with reading.Whenever I am not well or bored, I read something or do quilling then I feel fresh.

Hi omkar, even I completly agree with u ,Drawing helps us in many ways such as elementary and intermidiate examinations add extra 2 percent after passing 10. Aai and baba, even my drawing teachers say that my paintings are really very good and much better than the others of my age,but even then I get bored some times while drawing as I feel it depends on our mood.

Thanks for this sharing, Omkar. This is indeed such a nice experience and it reinforces what we have learnt in the shibir. Omkar, this reminds me of a similar such instance when I was actually feeling very tired for about 2 days and had hence given up on my morning walk. However, on the third day I forced myself to resume my daily ritual and to my surprise, I was actually feeling fresh and energetic !!!!!!
