This year the ipl 5 was a very lively affair  with many controversies and some thrilling matches. I  have put forth some of my views related to ipl 5.IPL has definitely helped in search for new talent, but day by day it is becoming more money oriented. Now there are many differences rising out between some players and their respective boards.Players  are putting their national commitments behind to play in the ipl.Ipl is good for timepass and entertainment but to see the players playing for their country with pride is much more inspiring.In ipl 5 we have seen many match winning performances, but there is no guarantee that these players can perform well in international matches as the challenges are different and it is at a different level altogether.The selectors also have to look into the consistency factor of the players,which in this ipl has been seen in only very few indian players.Still it  is a very good platform for the young players to come forward and prove themselves and ipl provides them with a golden opportunity to face all the best national and international talent. IPL is nice but i think everybody will be more happy to see INDIA lifting another trophy in Sri lanka this year.
